Dear Readers,
Recently our Transition Class had the amazing opportunity to work with one of our local vendors. Toni Prentice is a talented artist who displays her artwork at Reach for the STARS. Toni taught us about creating bead art from the beginning to the end. Materials we used included wood, stencils, glue and beads. Some of the bead art that each student designs consisted of a Christmas tree, a reindeer, a rose, a star and a spring day. I had an awesome time doing the bead art craft. What I like about crafts like this is being able to be creative and the sense of pride felt seeing the end result. I would like to give a shout out to Toni and say thank you for coming in and teaching us how to do the craft and giving us some tips. Sincerely, Paetyn Howell
